I've been having this idea for a mini album for quite a while now. I decided to get started with it and finished making the cover today. And.... I love it :)
I bought the fabric from Craftland - a one stop shop for everything you will ever need for Crochet, Knitting, Embroidery, Quilting etc. I love their range of fabrics. It would spoil you rotten!
I got the idea of circles from Studio Calico - my current favourite website for ideas and inspirations. When I read this post, I knew I HAD to try it. It is just so simple and easy!
Then I embroidered (chain stitched) the digits 1, 2 and 3. Oh, I forgot to tell you about the title. Talha (my son) is three years old now. This album would be all about him - from the day he was born to today. Then I simply did some running stitches on the borders, glued some buttons and adhered the fabric to the chipboard.
