I'am on a 'mini' roll! :))

One of the prompts we received at Shimelle's Pretty Paper Party last week was on making mini albums. It inspired me to finish a mini that I've been putting off for too long. The reason why I kept putting it off was because I had overwhelmed myself with too many photos.. The album was called 1-2-3 and the idea was to chronologically record the life of my then three year old son. Putting THREE years into a mini ended up way too much to handle. And after covering his first year, I just gave up!

So, after receiving the prompt from Shimelle and seeing the simple and cute mini of Revlie, I decided to take out the 1-2-3 mini and make it about Talha's first year. I changed the cover and made few simple changes here and there. I didn't add any number or anything of the sort on the cover, you know to denote a year or something. I thought, if in the future I feel like adding more of his photos, I could do that.. :)

I also ended up making another mini... I had bought a mini of Creating Inspirations from Paperlane few weeks back. I made a simple book of Duas (prayers). Few simple and easy prayers in there for my kids to learn from. :) It came out relatively quickly.

I've used Jillibean Soup's Kraft Corrugated Alphas for the title. I painted them with black fabric paint and finished off with Glossy Accents. I love those corrugated alphas.. got them from Creative Hands. Will buy more next time. ;)
