Just popping in to quickly post a recipe I came up with yesterday. Hope you like it. :)
King Fish - 250 to 300gms
Button Onions - 5-6 of them, chopped
Garlic - 4-5 pods
Red chilli - whole - 2
Coriander seeds - 1/4 tsp
Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - pinch
Vegetable Oil - enough for shallow frying
Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves - few
With a motar and pestle, crush garlic, coriander seeds, fennel seeds, red chilli.
In a bowl, combine red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and the above with some water.
Marinate fish pieces in the masala for about twenty minutes.
In a frying pan, heat oil and add fenugreek seeds.
When they start to crackle, add chopped onions and saute. Add curry leaves.
Place the fish on top of the onions and fry until golden and cooked.
