Ramadan Journal: Day 18: Pistachio and Rosewater Cream Cake
If you are here for the first time, kindly read this post on Journal your Ramadan to understand this series better. Jazakumullah khair.

Today's prompt is actually 'In your kitchen'. When I came up with this prompt, I honestly didn't think it would fall on our wedding anniversary. *toothy smile* I had told myself not to turn my Ramadan Journal into Ramadan food journal, but somehow most of my blog posts seem to be about food. ha!
I promise this would be the last food post in this series. *smile again*. I just cannot not blog about this recipe. Why? Because this is the best looking + yummilicious cake I've ever made. I was lucky to get some good photos too. I'am very very poor at food photography and I honestly have no idea how these came about. Ofcourse, I did do some editing on Picasa, but not much really.
I hope you will give this cake a try. I really do. This is a nutty cake which will impress your tummy and your loved ones' tummies no doubt.

And the cake - oh my God! Really! Oh my God! It's not just super easy to make, it tastes heavenly too. Everytime I bake a good cake I feel really proud of myself. You know how scary baking can be. But like Dimah has written on her blog, it's only the matter of following instructions to the T. And I'am very good at that. *grin again*

Have a blessed and peaceful day
