From our new home! Yes, we have moved. And no, we didn't leave Dubai. We moved to a three bedroom apartment (3BHK in real estate terms) close to where we lived before. It has been only a week since the move and I think I can say we have officially finished 'unpacking'.

Why did we move? It was getting cramped for the four of us and we felt it was time to get an apartment with separate space for us (J and I), kids and PPS

The kitchen is lovely and a storage room has been definitely an added bonus. Talha and Aisha's room isn't complete yet. I've pinned so many ideas!! I hope I have the time and energy to finish them. Hopefully I will have a home decor post to share soon.

What excites me the most is that now I've a proper work space. The studio is almost ready. I have to give it few finishing touches but I'am already at peace with how it looks and works.

Talha was not very keen on moving at first. But after seeing children's play area and swimming pool he couldn't wait to move! Aisha is still exploring and hiding in closets. Although J doesn't actually say anything, I know and feel he is happy too. So all in all, the move has been good for us so far. Alhamdulillah!

Oh, and I've been cooking and trying new recipes too. I made these Snowball Cookies for a get together. They are so quick and easy to bake and were loved by everyone! I would make them smaller next time though. You can find the recipe here.

I also made this Spicy Cocunut Fish Curry for lunch couple of days back. This recipe of Anjum Anand is a welcome change from the usual fish curry I make. I think I should add less water next time.

Among all the happiness and joy, there has been a sad news too. One of my close friend's loved one passed away. Inna lillahi.. She is on my mind all the time and I wish I could be by her side. Please remember her in your thoughts and prayers.

I will be back soon to continue my posts on Spain. Insha Allah.
