'Currently.. With A Twist' is a new series I have planned for this year. I love reading 'currently' lists of other bloggers as I often find something new or unheard of by taking a peek into their daily lives. But here, I'am adding a small twist. Along with me, I will also get a friend or a fellow blogger to share their 'currently' list. I'am excited and hope you are too.
Since this was an idea born after a brainstorming session with my bestie Megha, I invited her to share her's first. Megha and I went to school together. We lost touch when I moved to Dubai. Thanks to Facebook, we were back at being buddies and our relationship has grown stronger through the years. We haven't been able to meet in person yet, but, hopefully, we will get a chance soon. In sha Allah.
Let's get started then.
Working on – a presentation for my MIS class.
Listening – Ho Hey by The Lumineers
Thinking – about a vacation
Watching – Vikings on History
Anticipating – my graduation in May (Yippiee!!)
Eating – Neelu’s yummy Shrimp Biriyani.
Wishing – for Spring (done with the hard freeze)
Planning – taking swimming lessons
Thankful for – good health and loving people in my life.
Now, let's have a look at mine.
Working.. on a scrapbook page. Yes, after what seems like years! I hope I will finish it and share it here soon.
Reading.. I haven’t started reading it yet, but my book club pick for the month of March is Everything Illuminated by Jonathan Safran Foer and I’am really looking forward to it.
Listening.. to a young band called London Grammar. I love their song Interlude and Darling Are You Gonna Leave Me. Interlude is so calming and is perfect for work. Harry Connick Jr.'s One Fine Thing is also on loop. Sweet simple lyrics and good voice. Nothing fancy. Then there is Lorde! I bought her album in December and haven't got tired of her songs yet. Buzzcut Season is my absolute favorite. Gorgeous music to listen to during school runs.
Anticipating.. arrival of new items at PPS and feeling excited.
Eating.. let's not go there.
Feeling.. apprehensive about an upcoming dental appointment. I may be thirty. I may have given birth to two, but I'am still scared of dentists.
Loving.. the new URL and name of this blog.
Thankful for.. everything. Alhamdulillah.
Wishing.. you all a lovely day ahead!
I have never listened to Ho Hey before. What a fine song! See, this is why I love 'currently' lists. If you would like to share yours', do leave a comment below linking to your blog post.
