Is it just me or does it take you a while to get into Ramadan mode? You know Ramadan is around the corner from the different advertisements in the print and digital media. Bloggers, like myself, start churning out Ramadan recipe ideas, organizational ideas, craft ideas etc. Friends and family start sharing recipes and home decor photos on Whatsapp and what nots. Yet, here you are sitting idle and hoping for some inspiration to strike. You can literally hear the crickets chirping. Sounds familiar? No? Ok, then it' just me.
I have noticed that every Ramadan, I begin with good intentions. I have a list of prompts to photograph and write about. I have a lot of ideas in my head and feel confident that I can pull everything off during one of the most busiest months. However, I seem to lose steam half way through. So this year, I decided to be a bit more prepared. I wrote down the prompts in my planner with ideas for photos - I am stilling filling it in. I would really like to flesh out my thoughts better into words. When getting tied up with work and life in general, it is writing I miss the most.
